casuistry (n) : clever but fallacious reasoning used to make a case, resolve a problem or argument, etc, often making the morally wrong seem acceptable The year is 2022. The Wizarding World is at peace. Or so most people think. Because for some, the war never ends, and peace will not come until they have won. They work in secret and ‘peace’ is not their aim.
The incidents are apparently isolated. An unsolved murder here, a disappearance there. Not much to go on. But who is perpetrating them? Is there a motive, or is it the work of a madman? Is it an organisation, or an individual? And what of the reports of ‘recruiters’ working undercover?
As events build, a story emerges; a story of an ancient feud and a brotherhood of Pureblood Supremacists and Dark Arts Practitioners – the Streghe – that has its roots in Medieval Italy, and the people who, centuries ago, fought to destroy them. Could it be true that someone in Britain is attempting to rebuild the scattered Streghe? And if so, could it mean another war?
But nothing is as simple as that, and the world is not black and white. The Streghe move in secret, and perhaps they aren’t the only ones who haven’t forgotten the past. If the clouds of war are gathering, who and where is the enemy? [Please note: The entire board is only viewable to registered members.]
